Reports and indicators
Sadales tīkls or a cooperation partner provide clearance work on power line routes and protection zones if there are trees and/or bushes that can threaten the secure electricity supply. Trees and/or bushes are cut across the width of the power line route. Tree branches that grow in a power line protection zone and are posing danger are sawed and in some cases such trees are cut too.
The widths of the protection zones and routes where clearance work is taking place depends on the voltage (low voltage or medium voltage) and the location of the line (a forest, an area outside a populated locality or a populated locality).
* Overhead power line is a power line with cables above the ground
** Cable power line is a power line buried in the ground
